ScanoraAI collects only the information necessary to provide our services. The type of data collected depends on how you use the platform:

• Free audit service: We do not require account creation. When you submit a URL, we temporarily process that URL and its publicly accessible HTML to generate your audit report. No personal information is required.
• Paid managed rebuild services: When you purchase a Paid Service, we collect your name, email address, and the website URL you want rebuilt. This information is necessary to deliver the service and send you order confirmation and status updates.
• Payment information: We do not store your card, bank, or UPI details. All payment processing is handled by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We receive only a payment confirmation and an anonymised order reference from Razorpay.

2. How We Use Your Data

Data we collect is used for the following purposes:

• Fetching and analysing the publicly accessible content of submitted websites to generate audit reports
• Processing and fulfilling paid service orders, including sending confirmation and delivery emails
• Communicating with you about your order status or support requests
• Improving the accuracy and reliability of our audit engine (using anonymised, aggregated signals only)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to save your audit history in the Dashboard. This data never leaves your device. We may use minimal analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage patterns. No personally identifiable information is stored in cookies.

4. Third-Party Services

ScanoraAI relies on the following third-party providers to operate:

• Razorpay — payment processing for Paid Services. Razorpay's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.
• Google PageSpeed Insights API — performance and Core Web Vitals data for audit reports.
• Hosting & infrastructure providers — process limited technical data (request metadata, IP addresses) on our behalf under standard data-processing terms.

5. Data Retention

• Free audit reports: Stored on our servers for up to 90 days to allow shareable report links to function, then automatically deleted.
• Order data (paid services): Your name, email, and order details are retained for a minimum of 3 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes.
• Raw provider payloads: Stored only for verification and debugging, then deleted within 30 days.
• Dashboard history: Stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage and can be cleared at any time.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by contacting us. For order-related data subject to legal retention requirements, we will inform you of any limitations on deletion.
